Your local extension office is a great resource! They operate at a state or county level and can be located throughout your state. They have a wealth of information that is specific to your area. Search the internet for "your state/county extension office or cooperative". They often have free workshops and master gardener classes. Don't forget to search for clubs or co-ops in your area, sharing information and products is a great way to learn and connect in your community. Also check out your local farmers market! You will be sure to find smiling faces that love to connect and share their valuable knowledge. Social media groups are one of our favorite go to's!
The USDA covers everything agriculture in the United States. They have a ton of free resources from the National Agriculture Library, guidance on soil health, and how to connect with local resources.
